What we're drawing

For our first cityscape, we are keeping it simple. Simple shapes and a simple color scheme. We'll be using acrylic paint, black waterproof ink or marker and a white gel pen.

You will only need one color plus white and black to create the building colors. For the sky or background, you will choose a color that is opposite your main color on the color wheel. Refer to the color wheel lesson to see what color you might like to choose.

Everything I show in this lesson is a suggestion. I encourage you to chase your creative frenzies... as I did when I decided to make a snow scene at the top of the buildings. Anything goes. Let your imagination put something ridiculous on the tops of your buildings. Most importantly, have fun!!
